“Too much sanity may be madness. And maddest of all, to see life as it is and not as it should be!”

– Don Miguel de Cervantes

RVA based landscape and abstract artist focusing on blurring the lines of reality and dreams. Let’s look through the veils of the subconscious together.

I am a lover of anything new, exciting and different. My style would best be described as “unstyle” as I bounce from contemporary landscapes to organic abstracts. I try to capture that fuzzy line between reality and dreams and blur it as much as possible.

We commissioned work from Jacqui to transform our bnb into a livable gallery, and every guest raved about it! Her landscapes are evocative and soothing, featuring pillowy cloudscapes that blend into softened horizon lines, all in gentle color palettes that invite a contemplative gaze. And although the landscapes are undeniably attractive, Jacqui’s abstract pieces are especially compelling. She uses acrylic paint to create layers and texture more typically expected from oils, and the result is a canvas filled with depth and possibility. In particular, one abstract piece is the focal point of the living area, stretching nearly eight feet tall with dynamic swirls of green and blues accented by highlights of gold. The image demands attention but does not distract from the overall décor; a true harmony of form and function.
